While working from home, it is easy to slip into bad habits as we all adjust to this new way of working. The fridge may be far too close and distractions are aplenty, but a few simple daily practices can make a significant difference to your wellbeing.

Here are a few tips to help you along.

Keeping healthy at home

  • Cutting the trips to the fridge

With the kitchen most likely a few rooms away from your new office, it can be tempting to pop into the kitchen for a quick nibble. These trips will not only add some extra weight, but you’ll slow down your productivity with all the back and forth! If you do need to snack though, choose the healthier options and avoid the crisps.  end up eating so many snacks that it takes time away from working and being productive.

  • Be productive

This is a great time to get stuff done around the house. Outside of your work hours, use the extra time at home to do something productive around the house. This could mean a bit of DIY or decluttering certain areas of your home. Whatever it may be, this process can be therapeutic and a great way to use your time efficiently. The good news is that if you need extra space to store your unused items following a good clean up, we have the perfect solution with our safe and secure self storage.

  • Exercise

Fitting in a quick workout is a great way to get the blood pumping and refresh the body and mind. Why not use the time in the morning before you get started at work to train, or even your lunch break to do some exercise and come back ready to tackle the afternoon ahead.

  • Have a chat to those you care about
