At Storage King, we believe in offering transparent self-storage pricing with no hidden charges or admin fees. Our pricing is straightforward and depends on just four key factors:
- Size of the Unit: The storage unit's size determines the base price.
- Length of Storage: The duration of your storage needs influences the total cost.
- Length of the promotion: Selected sizes may have different offers which will influence the total cost
- Unit Level: Whether you choose a ground-floor or first-floor unit can affect pricing.
Once you provide these details, we can promptly offer you an accurate quote. What we quote is precisely what you'll pay, as all storage fees are included in the initial price.
Customer Benefits
As a Storage King customer, you will enjoy flexibility and don’t need to worry about being tied down by a restrictive contract.
You can terminate your storage agreement with just fourteen days' notice, and we will refund any unused pre-paid days and insurance charges. Plus, you have the freedom to transfer your storage to a different unit size as needed, with no additional fees except for the cost difference of the new unit.
Additional Payments
Our quotes already include tax and VAT. However, please note that we require customers to have insurance, which is a legal requirement for self-storage. We can help you arrange insurance through certain underwriters to cover any physical loss or damage to your stored belongings.
Additionally, if you need packing and storage supplies, you can conveniently purchase storage boxes and packaging materials online or at your local Storage King facility.
Secure Shredding Services
We offer secure shredding services at our stores. The process is simple: order a shredding bag from your local store, fill it up, and return it. We'll take care of the rest!
Discounts and Special Offers
At Storage King, we understand the importance of affordability. That's why we offer various discounts and promotions:
- First Month for £1: Available at selected stores for new customers, excluding insurance and digital key/padlock costs. Minimum stay required is 2 months.
- 50% off deals: Offered at selected stores for new customers, excluding insurance and digital key/padlock costs. Minimum stay required is 1 month or equal to the length of the promotion period if it is extended. There will be no refunds within any months where 50% off has been applied.
- Pre-Payments: Enjoy discounts for long-term storage with 6 and 12-month stays. Contact your local store for more details.
Our Price Promise
We strive to provide the best value in self-storage. If you find a lower quote from a competitor with similar services, we'll match it through our Price Promise.
We do have some terms and conditions for this offer, so please just give them a read first:
- Competitor quotes must be presented in writing at one of our stores within 30 days of your move-in date.
- The competitor must be located within three miles of our store and offer comparable self-storage services.
- Quotes from non-self storage services or containerised storage companies do not qualify.
- The price promise is for self storage units up to 300 sq ft and is subject to availability.
- The Price Promise rate is guaranteed for a minimum of six months.
- This offer cannot be combined with other promotions.
- Storage King reserve the right to withdraw this discount at any time.
- Price Promise does not apply to bulk units, managed offices, or parking spaces.
