We recently caught up with the team to discover how they’ve been helping families, businesses and homeowners up and move their entire lives with ease. This is what they had to say.
Can you tell us a bit about your business journey?
The business has been running for many years and is based in Alicante, Spain. Dealing with many customers moving to and from the UK, we are happy to have an excellent relationship with Storage King, from whom we rent storage space for our UK customers for interim storage and a base to where they can have goods delivered for onward shipment to their homes in Spain.
What inspired you to start a business in the removals industry?
Living in Alicante and recognising the need for a professional and reliable company to offer a very personal removals service at very competitive prices.
What are some challenges you’ve encountered, and how did you overcome them?
One of our most recent challenges was the aftermath of Brexit. Now, all goods, including household removals and personal effects, need to be exported and imported and need customs clearance. We have become experts in this and can offer a full removal service to our customers including customs procedures.
What advice would you give someone starting their own removal business?
To communicate, be professional and efficient, and care for your customers. We are moving their personal goods, sometimes under stressful circumstances, so we empathise and try to make things as easy for them as possible.

Our expertise, and our friendly personal approach. All customers have different requirements, we want to listen to them and provide the best service possible.
How has Storage King benefited your business?
Storage King Basildon is in a great location for us to facilitate moves to and from the UK. We have developed a trustworthy relationship with Mick and the other staff, and are very happy with the service they provide us.
How did the COVID-19 pandemic impact your business?
As with a lot of businesses, the pandemic stopped our operations for a while. People could not move for different reasons to do with Covid, so of course, this affected us. Once we were allowed to work we followed all the necessary COVID-19 protocol and continued to provide a reliable service.
What’s next for Masterclass Removals?
To continue moving people! To keep up to date with the latest trends for moving, and advise our customers as best we can over what is needed to move into Europe.
