I did review positively prior I found out my unit was contaminated. I went to my unit after couple months to move my storage out to find a dead mouse and droppings everywhere resulting in having to dispose 90% of my items, most of which were clothes in boxes and plastic bags! Brand new mattress and some furnishings. Yes I did have a plastic box of flour which I was not aware of but this does NOT attract a mouse into my unit, the last time I checked my unit there was no indication of any mice nor should there have been one now. Therefore I do not take the blame that I have food in my unit, which I did not. I have noticed around my surrounding units there was mouse droppings under the doors, so probably I am not the only one with this issue. The issue was solved by moving what was remaining into another unit temporarily. I did give a move out date of 14 feb But as I did not expect to find my unit contaminated so I had to change my move out to 28 feb. I had to pay for a whole month installment to then get a refund for the unused days. Why not just charge what I did use in the day I moved out my unit? Till this day I did not get a refund, even though they said they would, I doubt the refund is coming, they do not really care. Whilst they seem friendly in person, what goes on behind the scenes is very different. Also they are aware I am currently abroad and calls cost a lot to call them, they are hard to reach and never answer their emails. Avoid at all cost.

Great customer service during set up of storage renting! I made several calls to ask the same questions and they were very understanding and helpful. When visiting to start my rent I had to make some changes to information I had already provided, also had to bring my toddler (basically being a complete pain). However, staff were very understanding of my messy situation, helpful and didn’t make me feel like I was asking for too much. Great guys!

Been using this unit for around 3 years now. Absolutely fantastic team, always helpful. The place is always clean and tidy. Always trolleys available to use. Accessing the unit is always easy. The toilets are always clean. Would highly recommend storage king Maidstone!
