Moving Supplies & Van Rental
To make things simpler for you during your move, we have partnered with Hertz for convenient van rental. Just download the Hertz app, book one of our on-site vans and return it when you are done!
To be eligible for our van hire service, you need to:
- Be over 21
- Held your driving licence for at least 1 year
- Have a debit or credit card in your name
We also have all the packaging materials you need in our packaging shop, including scissors, padlocks, moving boxes and much more!

Packing Tips

- Whenever possible, use uniform-sized boxes; this makes stacking them much simpler and safer. If you don’t have boxes, visit our packaging shop
- Make an inventory of the items you are placing into storage to keep track of all your items
- While vacuum sealing every item is not necessary, plastic bags will help keep items free of any dust and protect them from moisture or dampness

Just moved my belongings out of Storage King yesterday after a an 8 month stay. Simon helped us on our last day in the office and was incredibly friendly and helpful but all staff were equally fantastic throughout. We changed units midway to downsize and save some costs as we ended up staying longer than anticipated. The service was simple and they refunded any overpayments from the larger space quickly and easily. From start to finish the service was clear and hassle free. With easy access with your own password we never had any issues. I read on another comment that it doesn't offer 24 hours access, although as we never needed to go late at night this wasn't a problem for us - but perhaps helpful to check if you need out of hours access. The staff were also kind enough to agree to a small discount when we needed a little help midway through to which we were grateful. Would recommend to anyone and would use again. Mixed bag experience with storage king, their policies are weird such as you can not get your stuff after 6 pm if you have personal storage. Hard to compete with other storage services with 24 hour access. Staff is courteous and great though.

Storage king are a great facility with easy access and huge lifts. Clean and efficient site , very secure, with terrific helpful staff. Theresa was especially pleasant and knowledgeable to deal with and Simon was a great help closing the account and offering advice . A very positive experience; even the price (special offer) was excellent . Would recommend .

We did not take up storage as our sale fell through, but up to that point SK we're amazing. Easy to get hold of and happy to help on the phone, Simon took trouble to explain the options and make sure we understood the process. The cost was very reasonable for first 8 weeks, and pulling out was easy and at no cost. Highly recommended.
