10/10! Very impressed with the facilities and fabulous customer service by Sarah Davies. Sarah helped me feel at ease about whole process, decide which size made the most sense to me and overall just one of the best customer service interactions I’ve had in years in all honesty. Good value for money, happy to hear the security processes, unit was clean, and access hours are decent enough and you can request wider access in advance if needed. Accessibility: reception has a wheelchair lift for access. In storage unit there’s a goods lift, and there’s a standard sized lift for customers. Not sure what’s the most accessible way to get from your van/car inside though - I didn’t see any access ramps where I unloaded so maybe just double check this is needed with a phone call. Tip: they sell loads of different boxes, bubble wrap etc, lots of box sizes at reception, including TV boxes too. They sell padlocks too.

Updated Review: Storage King were kind and conscious of the issue leading to it being discussed and sorted so I do appreciate the attention to customers: ------------- I initially had a positive experience with Storage King Nottingham during the first two weeks of my rental. The unit was clean and secure, and the access hours were convenient for my house move. I rented a 200 sq. ft. unit and paid for a full month, expecting to only need the unit for a couple weeks. However, my experience took a disappointing turn when I vacated the unit after two weeks. Despite having half of my paid rental period remaining, I was charged an additional fee close to £50 for not providing a two-week notice before vacating. This fee was imposed even though the unit was empty and fully vacated, with two weeks still left on my contract. The policy of charging customers for not providing notice under these circumstances, especially when the unit is no longer in use, is both unexpected and frustrating. It left me feeling that the additional charge was unjustified and bordering on excessive. While the storage facility itself is excellent, this particular policy is something future customers should be aware of before committing.
