- Royal Liverpool
This is one of the oldest English seaside clubs. The club celebrated its 150th birthday in 2019 and in that same year, the club hosted the Walker Cup. Despite it being pretty flat at first glance, this course remains being one of the most demanding tests on a golfer’s abilities.
- Royal Birkdale
This course has held more championships and international events since the second World War than any other course in the world. This course is special as it allows amateurs to play on the same course as professionals. This club has been voted number one gold club in England and amongst the top 35 in the world.
- Hillside
Hillside is neighbouring Royal Birkdale and is a course of similar structure. This golf club has hosted many tournaments and had been selected by the European tour to host the 2019 British Masters. The back nine holes of the course have been described as some of the best in Britain by PGA champion, Greg Norman.
- Formby
One of the finest championship courses, this course was founded in 1884 and was used as convalescence home by soldiers in 1914. The course is known for its well protected greens and challenging tree shots as it runs through mature sand dunes and pinewoods.
