As winter comes to an end in the UK, people are slowly emerging from their homes to soak up the sunlight and fresh air. With the sky clearing up and the days becoming longer and brighter, there are plenty of opportunities to explore the outdoors, and what better way to spend your day than in the sunny suburb of Weybridge. So next time you’re meandering through this quaint town, add these activities to your list.

1. Brooklands Museum

If the guzzling sound of an engine excites you, then you can’t pass up the opportunity to visit the Brooklands Museum. This motoring and aviation museum is located on the former Brooklands motor-racing track and features a wide variety of exhibits, from racing cars and motorcycles to the iconic Concorde aircraft.

2. Claremont Landscape Garden

Awaken your senses on a trip to Claremont Landscape Garden; one of the earliest surviving English Landscape Gardens just outside Weybridge. This living piece of history still features its original 18th-century layout and offers panoramic views of the surrounding woodlands, peppered with sculptures and striking architecture. There is also a dog-friendly café filled with freshly-baked treats for afternoon tea.

3. River Wey & Godalming Navigations

4. London Bus Museum

The London Bus Museum is home to the world’s largest collection of London buses and features over 150 years of bus history. From horse-drawn buses to the 1970s' 70 seater buses, there are countless exhibits on display. The museum is set to reopen this summer with a brand new look and is the perfect excursion for a family day out.

5. Thorpe Park Resort
