This teepee specialist is taking sleepovers to the next level

Sleepovers are some of the fondest memories we have as kids. From trays of sugary treats to homemade blanket forts, it’s one night of pure fun where children form lasting friendships and even get a taste of independence. Sleepy Teepee Fun was founded to not only elevate the sleepover experience but create a night that kids will remember for years to come. Now with their otherworldly tents and decor, the team is taking slumber parties to the next level.  

When the COVID-19 pandemic forced businesses in the UK to close their doors, many Brits began to pursue passions they never had time to do before, including Becky Drewitt. Spurred to start her own business, Becky took the leap in July 2020 and set up Sleepy Teepee Fun. “I started with 4 tents and 2 themes,” she says. “Within 3 months, I went up to 10 tents ready for Halloween and the Christmas season.” 

Since then, Becky has grown the humble start-up into Milton Keynes’ go-to slumber party specialist. From afternoon tea and picnic setups to Christmas and Halloween themed movie nights, Becky offers an array of fully decorated and unique teepees to create the ultimate sleepover experience. Sleepy Teepee Fun is also dedicated to making slumber party dreams a reality and can personalise the tents to suit any theme. 

When business began to pick up, Becky found herself in need of a secure self storage unit where she could safely store her various tents and decor.
