Giving back to the communities in which we operate is important for us at Storage King. When an opportunity arose to become involved in the 58th Woodley Community Carnival, we couldn’t pass it up.

The carnival, of which Storage King is a main sponsor, is a fundraiser for local charities where the greater Woodley community comes together for a day of festivities, and to give back to various societies and organisations that are making a positive impact in and around Woodley.

Stalls, entertainment and food are the order of the day at this popular event, held on the Memorial Field in Woodley. Storage King’s financial sponsorship will be used towards the cost of the attractions, allowing the event to be even bigger and better than before.

Festival-goers can expect to meet Tall Will, the world’s tallest Bubbleologist and a mean stilt-walker and bubble magician. Experience the magic of giant bubbles, tiny bubbles, bubble sculptures, smoke bubbles, fire bubbles, bubbles with his bare hands and more.

Other attractions include a flower show, classic car display, and dog show. There will also be displays of model railways, traction engines, caged birds and exotic animals from local enthusiasts.

Storage King Woodley-Reading will join in the fun by hosting a rock painting stand, in support of local community group Woodley Rocks. “This is a particular highlight for us, as this activity has become extremely popular over recent months and we look forward to seeing what rock creations people can come up with’’, says Storage King CEO Robin Greenwood. Kids who visit the stand will leave with a goody bag containing their rock and free bubbles.

Storage King will also sponsor winner and runner-up prizes for the Best School/Charity float in the carnival procession.

“There is plenty to see and do and Storage King is proud to support this worthy cause. We have no doubt that all community members who visit the Carnival will have a thoroughly enjoyable time.”
