Lockdown has inspired businesses to adapt and find new ways of overcoming challenging periods. We’ve been impressed by the resilience and resourcefulness of many businesses that use our storage facilities and inspired by how they have responded to the pandemic.
This week, we profiled Roline Cleaning, Young Actors Company and the Crew Clean Team. Read on to find out how each of these businesses has stayed positive in 2020.
Rolin Cleaning
Rolin Cleaning, a family-run business in Kent, love to bring old floors back to life. They’ve even restored 200-year-old floorboards! In their spare time, the team also get involved in their local community, whether that is raising funds for the NHS during the pandemic or taking part in a charity run.

Young Actors Company
Lockdown hasn’t stopped the Young Actors Company from finding a way to do what they love. For example, one of the ‘YACtors’ named Finn has spent his time off of the stage voicing two lead roles in an animated short film. Even Leigh, the company agent, has hit the streets to entertain neighbourhoods in isolation with her soothing voice and fun dance moves. Crewe Clean Team
There is strength in unity and a great example of this is the work that the Crewe Clean Team do. As a group of locals dedicated to improving the environment, members volunteer their time to pick up litter and plant bulbs, among other activities. They also aspire to educate young children about the environment.
