Some people love working from home and are more productive. Others struggle with managing time and staying focused. In today's post, we share a few tips to help manage your time so that you can get your tasks done on deadline.

Tips for working from home:

  • Keep a schedule and stick to it
  • Get dressed as though you were going into the office
  • Create a dedicated workspace that is free from distractions
  • Take scheduled breaks
  • Reward yourself for completing tasks
  • Ask a colleague or loved one at home to hold you accountable

Do you have any extra tips that have worked for you?

This week, we featured three local organisations in our Local Business Spotlight. Two family-run businesses and an inspiring charity organisation. Recap on who we profiled here.

Platinum Heating Essex

Monday’s Local Business Spotlight featured Platinum Heating Essex, a local, family-run business that is led by engineer Scott who has over 7 years of experience in the trade. The small team put their heart into each plumbing, heating and gas job in Essex and have received rave reviews for their hard work.

Hockley Transport Removals

On Wednesday we featuredKevin, the third generation of his family to lead Hockley Transport Removals. They are a family-run company that has been assisting with removal and storage needs since 1936.

Hockley Transport Removal’s aim is to provide the best moving experience without any hidden costs. They even offer a cleaning service to make sure that you have a stress-free moving experience. Find out more about Hockley Transport Removals on their Instagram page and website.
