Dunstable Beer Festival

After a very successful event in 2012, Dunstable Town Council once again transformed Grove House Gardens into the home of beer, ale and cider during May 2013.

Over 38 ales and ciders were available in the Gardens, allowing visitors to try out local suppliers and find themselves a new favourite.

The three day event Featured local ales such as 'Mutiny', 'Potbelly', 'Village Bike' and 'Dunstable Giant', as well as live music from local up and coming bands who were playing in the traditional park band stand.

The Highwayman

The Highwayman, which was sponsored by Storage King, is an award winning ale, and is a light brown colour, with hints of toffee and a slightly fruity bitter-sweet aftertaste.  It is brewed with Maris Otter pale, crystal & wheat malts, and Fuggles, Phoenix & First Gold hops.

The whole event was received well by the local community despite the wet and cold weekend weather with all the beer pumps running low by Sunday afternoon, and the Storage King sponsored Highwayman beer 1 of the top fiver sellers
