With Christmas a few days away, a familiar treat will lay wrapped under Christmas trees throughout the UK. While chocolate is synonymous with Christmas for most, many children in need won’t be fortunate enough to be treated to a selection box this year.

As a company focused on supporting the communities in which we operate, we have partnered with the Children’s Adventure Farm Trust (CAFT) to help drive selection box donations for their Christmas Programme. They are then distributing these to schools, charities, foodbanks and individuals who we knew were in need of a special treat.

Storage King Warrington has acted as a drop off location for all CAFT selection box donations from the local community. We have then kept the treats safe until they are distributed.

Helen Crowther, Trust Fundraiser and Press Officer of CAFT, recently shared the following: “We’re so grateful to Storage King for their continued support of our charity.  Thanks to their team we have been able to bring chocolatey smiles to the faces of many children from our region who may not have the magical Christmas all children should take for granted. We really can’t thank everyone who has donated enough for their generosity.”

Last year the organisation collected a staggering 4,500 selection boxes and the team is working hard to beat that figure! If you can’t make it down to Storage King Warrington, you can still donate by visiting www.totalgiving.co.uk/appeal/Selection-Box-Appeal. The charity will then do the selection box shopping for them.

Bring a sweet smile to a child’s face this Christmas by supporting this fantastic initiative.
