The store opened in June 2011 and consists of two buildings totalling 63 000 square feet. The second building was opened in 2012.

Doing good is good business, and the Cambridge store is regularly involved in raffles for Rays of Sunshine Children’s Charity, where the money raised goes towards brightening the lives of children with serious or life-limiting illnesses. The award-winning national children's charity helps to make life a little easier for seriously ill children in the UK aged three to 18 years old, by granting wishes, granting hospital ward wishes and organising outings and large-scale events for seriously ill children.
