A decade at Dartford

August marked 10 years’ service in Self Storage for our Dartford Store Manager Ella Willmott, as a thank you to Ella our CEO Robin Greenwood surprised her at the store with a bottle of champagne and a cake to mark the day.

Ella started her career in storage at our Dartford store as Assistant Manager when the store was run as an independent operator, Red Self Storage. She was key in the transition period when Storage King purchased the Dartford store back in 2011 and her dedication and hard work has seen her promoted to Store Manager. Since then the store has gone from strength to strength

She has worked very hard to become the Store Manager and we are very proud of her achievements at the store where she has grown the business from 40% occupancy when Storage King took over to 82% occupancy as of August 2017. The revenue has also increased from £600,000 to over 1 million – Well done Ella”
